RemoteCalendar uses CalDAV to connect to your Internet and intranet calendars. CalDAV is a standard to access scheduling information on a remote server (such as POP3 or IMAP for eMail is) and is supported by a growing number of servers, e.g. Apple iCal Server, Google, Zimbra 5.x, Oracle Beehive and many more.
You can directly access your calendar data using the built-in Internet connection in your iPhone.(1) So you don‘t need to synchronize it with a cable to get the latest information from your office! We support secure HTTPS connection and the built-in VPN client in your iPhone allows you to connect (2) to your office calendars.
RemoteCalendar is available for iPhone and iPod touch with firmware version 2.2 or later. It includes an English and German version and shows calendar events 14 days forward and 14 days backward.
RemoteCalendar currently supports group and person calendars of Apple iCal Servers (Mac OS X Leopard Server), and many other CalDAV servers.
Due to configuration differences in CalDAV Servers, we are not able to guarantee for RemoteCalendar to work with any CalDAV server. If you have trouble connecting to your CalDAV Server, please contact us for assistance!
